The Kinks - Face To Face LP

New. Sealed. 180 Gram Vinyl

Vinyl LP pressing released to coincide with the veteran British band’s 50th Anniversary. Not as fluffy as many of their Merseybeat counterparts, Ray Davies and the boys have managed to become one of the most influential British bands of all time even though they didn't sell quite as much as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who and their other contemporaries. Face to Face was the fourth studio album by The Kinks, released on 28 October 1966 through Pye Records. With this album, the band moved away from the hard-driving beat music style of 1964/65, which had catapulted them to international stardom. It was the first Kinks album consisting entirely of Ray Davies compositions. On the cover, Party Line is credited R.Davies - D.Davies.
