Flaming Lips - Transmissions From The Satellite Heart LP

NEW. SEALED.

Warner Bros. Records

1993's Transmissions From The Satellite Heart is the Flaming Lips' second release for Warner Bros. and first with guitarist Ronald Jones and drummer Steven Drozd. The band's transition from indie noisemakers to pop provocateurs was magnified tenfold here by the out of nowhere smash "She Don't Use Jelly," which was not only their first charting radio hit but heavily rotated on MTV. No one trick pony, the ambitious 11-song set balances further pop fare like "Turn It On" and extended numbers like "Moth In The Incubator" and "Slow Nerve Action," with an acoustic folk cut in "Plastic Jesus," all with a post-modern style and grace.

1. Turn It On
2. Pilot Can At The Queer Of God
3. Oh My Pregnant Head
4. She Don't Use Jelly
5. Chewin The Apple Of Your Eye
6. Superhumans
7. Be My Head
8. Moth In The Incubator
9. Plastic Jesus
10. When Yer Twenty Two
11. Slow Nerve Action
