Produced by Dan Healy and Bob Weir, it showcases an energetic, rootsy blend of country rock, folk rock, and blues. The lineup consists of Dave Torbert (bass/vocals), Matthew Kelly (guitar/harmonica/vocals), Robby Hoddinott (lead guitar), Chris Herold (drums), and Bob Weir. It is highly notable for containing the original studio recordings of "Lazy Lightnin'" and "Supplication", which quickly became staples in the Grateful Dead's live concert repertoires.
