More of a mixtape; the album sounds like The Building’s Anthony LaMarca overdubbed new songs on top of a cassette of polka radio shows his grandma made. On his third LP, LaMarca writes about truth, what it means to be lied to, his family’s pizza business and how it was connected to his favorite local musicians in his hometown, Youngstown, OH. Recorded at home during the summer of 2020, the album features Youngstown polka legend Del Sinchak, rising tamburitza star Angela White, doo-wop mogul Tony March (of Tammy Records), as well as War on Drugs bandmate David Hartley and long time collaborators Dean Wareham and Britta Phillips.
