Chuck Berry - Back Home (Chess Acoustic Sounds Series) LP NEW 180g
Chess/Interscope/Verve
The title of Chuck Berry’s 14th studio album, Back Home, details the return to his longtime label, Chess Records, in 1970. Complete with the rock ‘n’ roll sound that made him famous, all of the tracks on this record were penned by Chuck Berry himself. The two opening tracks, “Tulane” and “Have Mercy Judge” are standouts, exemplifying Berry’s enduring musicianship and wit on the guitar. Also included is “I’m a Rocker” and “Christmas.” Bring home the sound of America’s greatest blues label in high fidelity with the Chess Acoustic Sounds Series. These audiophile reissues of classic albums and compilations from the Chess Records discography are remastered from the original analog tapes and pressed on 180-gram vinyl at Quality Record Pressings (QRP). Each disc is packaged in tip-on gatefold sleeves printed on high-grade board.
