George Clinton - Computer Games LP NEW
Beat Goes Public Records
Released in 1982, "Computer Games" was George Clinton's first solo LP. Released after a period of legal wrangles, it put him back on the map, spawning two hit singles - 'Loopzilla' and 'Atomic Dog'. The album also climbed to #3 on Billboard's R&B chart and peaked at #40 on the Billboard 200. Although Funkadelic and Parliament had disbanded, the album featured many of the P-Funk crew, including Bootsy Collins, Eddie Hazel, Junie Morrison, Fred Wesley, Dennis Chambers, Garry Shider and Bernie Worrell. "Computer Games" was last reissued on vinyl in 2015. As part of Ace's commitment to putting out as much of the output of the P-Funk empire as possible, we are delighted to wax it again on 180g black vinyl with liner notes by our own Ian Shirley.
