His most recent instrumental album "Donuts" (Stones Throw) was released just days before his death in February has scanned nearly 30k. "The Shining" is the final J. Dilla album that he completed prior to his death. Featured guests on the album include Busta Rhymes, Common, Dwele, Pharoahe Monch, Madlib, Medaphor, Truth Hurts, Guilty Simpson, and Karriem Riggins. "The Shining" is a certified classic album that completes J Dilla's Journey with BBE where he released his first album titled "Welcome to Detroit" in 2002.
