A few years ago, Janie Hendrix had announced that Eddie Kramer had been working on 19 reels of tape of the Band Of Gypsys Fillmore concerts.
In an interview with Jon Grayson Janie stated that four projects were planned using the tapes (which is difficult to picture).
Three new tracks have already been featured on the "West Coast Seattle Boy" box set and one as a B-side of "Somewhere".
Finally, news has come through that this new live album will be released at the end of September!
Considered by many a Hendrix fan to be the best of the four BOG Fillmore shows, this will be very exciting as it is thought
that the multi-track tapes will be the source (that was not the case with "Live At The Fillmore East").
