Recorded in LA's Echo Park, bb u ok? is San Holo's first studio release since his acclaimed collaboration with Broods at the start of 2020, Honest. His debut album album1, released in 2018, received amazing support across the board, resulting in San being awarded the International Dance Music Award for Breakthrough Artist of the Year and the Edison Pop Award (Dutch equivalent of the Grammys) for Best Dance Album.
